Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Universoftware Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on universoftware.ai.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
When we refer to cookies in this policy, we also mean similar technologies such as local storage, session replay, browser storage, and security tokens where they are used for comparable purposes.
Our websites and browser-based services may use a mix of:
- browser cookies;
- local storage entries; and
- third-party analytics, performance, monitoring, and security technologies where enabled in the relevant deployment.
What We Currently Use
Strictly necessary and security technologies
These are used to operate the site, maintain security, and manage abuse controls.
Examples may include:
- the
public_assistant_verifiedcookie, used to remember a recent successful assistant or challenge verification for a limited period where applicable; - framework and routing technologies required to deliver the site; and
- anti-bot verification technologies such as Cloudflare Turnstile, where enabled.
If you block strictly necessary technologies, parts of the site may not work correctly.
Preference storage
We may store certain preferences in browser local storage rather than cookies.
Examples include:
cookie_consent, which records the banner choice made on the site;theme, which stores a visual theme preference where supported; andpublic_assistant_visitor_id, which stores a pseudonymous browser identifier used by the public assistant.
Analytics and performance technologies
We may use analytics and performance tools to understand traffic patterns, page performance, and site reliability.
Where required, non-essential browser-side analytics and performance tools are activated only after an applicable consent choice.
These technologies may include providers such as:
- Vercel Analytics;
- Vercel Speed Insights; and
- other performance-related tooling we may enable from time to time.
These technologies may use cookies or similar browser signals depending on how the provider and deployment are configured.
Error monitoring and replay technologies
Where enabled, we may use monitoring tools to investigate errors, performance issues, and abuse.
This may include Sentry, including sampled browser replay, browser error reporting, and separate server-side or edge-side error monitoring where configured.
Where required, browser-side monitoring and replay are activated only after an applicable consent choice. Separate server-side security logging, operational error monitoring, and backend incident investigation may still occur independently of that browser choice where required to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
Server-side and edge-side monitoring are operational controls, not browser consent controls. They depend on the relevant deployment or service configuration rather than a browser banner choice.
Advertising technologies
We do not currently use advertising or remarketing cookies for targeted advertising on the public website.
Third-Party Providers
Where relevant features are enabled, third parties may set or receive data through cookies or similar technologies in connection with their services. These may include providers in the following categories:
- hosting and site infrastructure;
- analytics and performance monitoring;
- error monitoring and replay;
- AI and abuse-prevention tooling; and
- email or other operational service providers linked from the site.
Please review the privacy and cookie information published by those providers for further detail about their own practices.
Consent and Control
Where required, we present a site banner or similar control to record a cookie preference in local storage or another appropriate browser setting.
If you choose the equivalent of "necessary only", we do not intentionally activate non-essential browser-side analytics, performance, or replay tooling from the relevant browser runtime.
You can reopen the site's cookie preference prompt from the footer using the Cookie Preferences control.
You can also manage cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings. Depending on your browser, you may be able to:
- view stored cookies and site data;
- block cookies entirely or for selected sites;
- clear cookies and local storage entries; and
- prevent future storage of site data.
Because some preferences may be stored in local storage, changing your preference may also require clearing site data in your browser.
If you clear site data, the site may treat you as a new visitor and ask for your preference again.
Browser Settings
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and website data
- Edge: Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Cookies and site permissions
Retention
Retention varies depending on the technology used:
- session-based technologies may expire when you close your browser;
- persistent cookies may remain until they expire or you delete them;
- local storage remains until you delete it or it is overwritten; and
- security-related technologies may use short-lived retention windows, such as assistant verification cookies or similar security markers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the site, technology providers, or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted here with the revised date.
