Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to any website, consultancy service, hosted software service, platform feature, API, automation, AI-powered tool, support channel, or related service that Universoftware Ltd makes available where applicable.

This policy forms part of our Platform Services Terms and applies to all users, customers, authorised users, contractors, and other persons accessing or using the services.

General Principle

You must use the services lawfully, fairly, responsibly, and in a way that does not create unacceptable security, legal, regulatory, operational, or reputational risk for us, our customers, our providers, or any third party.

Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the services to:

  • break the law or assist unlawful conduct;
  • infringe intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • engage in fraud, deception, phishing, impersonation, or social engineering;
  • send spam, malware, malicious code, or other harmful content;
  • harass, threaten, abuse, exploit, defame, or discriminate against individuals or groups;
  • interfere with, disrupt, probe, or bypass security, rate limits, or access controls;
  • reverse engineer, extract, or exfiltrate credentials, source code, proprietary prompts, hidden instructions, or other restricted information except to the extent mandatory law permits and cannot be excluded;
  • overload, scrape, or misuse the services in a way that materially degrades performance or availability; or
  • use the services in a way that creates material risk to critical infrastructure, health, safety, employment rights, consumer rights, or regulatory compliance without appropriate human review and controls.

AI-Specific Rules

Where services include AI-powered functionality, you must not use those features to:

  • generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content;
  • create malware, exploit code, credential theft, or attack instructions;
  • automate high-impact decisions without appropriate human oversight;
  • submit highly sensitive, secret, or regulated information unless the relevant service documentation or written agreement expressly permits it;
  • attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, override, or circumvent model safeguards or policy controls; or
  • represent AI-generated output as independently verified fact where it has not been reviewed.

You remain responsible for reviewing outputs before acting on them or sharing them with others.

Security and Access

You must:

  • keep credentials secure;
  • limit access to authorised users only;
  • maintain appropriate endpoint, network, and account security within your environment;
  • notify us promptly of any suspected compromise, misuse, or unauthorised access; and
  • cooperate reasonably with incident containment and remediation steps.

Data and Content

You must not submit, upload, process, or transmit data through the services unless you have the necessary rights, permissions, notices, and lawful bases.

You must not use the services to process personal data or regulated data in a way that breaches applicable law, contractual restrictions, or your own privacy notices.

Monitoring and Enforcement

We may monitor, investigate, filter, limit, suspend, or block use of the services where reasonably necessary to enforce this policy, protect the services, comply with law, respond to provider requirements, or prevent abuse, fraud, or security threats.

We may remove or disable access to content, data, accounts, integrations, or workflows that we reasonably believe breach this policy or create material risk.
