AI Assistant Policy

This AI Assistant Policy applies to AI-powered features, assistant interfaces, chat tools, automation features, classification features, generation features, or other AI-assisted functionality that Universoftware Ltd makes available where applicable.

It explains what those features are for, what they are not for, and the rules that apply when you choose to use them.

This policy should be read together with our Website Terms, Platform Services Terms, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

Purpose of AI-Powered Features

AI-powered features may help users:

  • understand Universoftware Ltd's published services, delivery approach, and engagement options;
  • identify whether a contact or assessment request may be appropriate; and
  • navigate relevant public pages on the site.

They are tools intended to assist with information access, productivity, workflow support, or service delivery. They are not a substitute for professional judgment or a separate written services commitment.

Important Limitations

AI-powered features can generate incorrect, incomplete, stale, oversimplified, or contextually unsuitable output.

You must not treat assistant output as:

  • legal advice;
  • regulatory or compliance advice;
  • financial, tax, accounting, or investment advice;
  • employment, HR, or immigration advice;
  • medical, health, or safety advice; or
  • a substitute for a written proposal, statement of work, or signed contract.

If a decision could materially affect your rights, obligations, money, systems, customers, staff, or compliance position, you must verify the information independently and obtain appropriate professional advice where needed.

How AI-Powered Features May Work

Depending on the relevant service, AI-powered features may:

  • accept prompts, inputs, messages, files, or structured instructions;
  • use anti-abuse checks such as Cloudflare Turnstile where enabled;
  • use pseudonymous identifiers, short-lived verification markers, and rate-limiting controls;
  • send prompts, context, or service data to third-party AI model or inference providers to generate outputs; and
  • store prompts, outputs, logs, and related metadata so we can operate, secure, review, support, and improve the feature.

For more detail about personal data handling, see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Do Not Submit Sensitive Data

Do not submit:

  • passwords, API keys, access tokens, or credentials;
  • trade secrets or confidential information unless we have expressly asked you to use a separate secure channel;
  • special category personal data or highly sensitive personal information;
  • personal data about other people unless you are authorised to provide it and it is necessary for a legitimate enquiry; or
  • unlawful, abusive, defamatory, infringing, discriminatory, or harmful content.

If you want to discuss a sensitive matter, use a direct business contact route and wait for us to confirm an appropriate secure process.

Acceptable Use

You must not use AI-powered features to:

  • test, probe, or circumvent security or abuse controls;
  • generate malware, phishing content, fraud, or social-engineering content;
  • generate unlawful, hateful, violent, exploitative, or infringing material;
  • impersonate another person or organisation;
  • submit automated, excessive, or abusive traffic; or
  • attempt to extract hidden prompts, system instructions, credentials, or internal-only information.

We may block, rate-limit, suspend, or permanently restrict access where we reasonably believe misuse, abuse, or elevated risk exists.

No Reliance and No Engagement Formation

Use of AI-powered features does not create:

  • a solicitor-client, consultant-client, fiduciary, or advisory relationship;
  • any duty to respond, deliver work, or accept an engagement; or
  • any commitment by Universoftware Ltd to provide services on particular terms.

Any actual engagement is governed by the applicable written agreement.

Availability and Changes

We may modify, pause, rate-limit, or discontinue AI-powered features at any time, with or without notice.

We may also update the models, prompts, safety controls, routing, providers, or data handling arrangements used for those features.

Liability

AI-powered features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept responsibility for loss arising from reliance on AI-generated or AI-assisted output.

Our broader contractual terms are set out in our Website Terms and Platform Services Terms, where applicable.
